Mitch Dobbs: PhD candidate

.Mitch graduated from Penn State in May 2021 with a B.A. in Psychology. Currently, he’s interested in why we believe misinformation, the factors and specific cognitive processes that make us susceptible to it, and how we update our beliefs over time. He also has a growing interest in computational approaches, and would like to try and integrate both data and computer science into his future work.

Krissy Kilgallen: Research Assistant

Krissy

.Krissy graduated from Northeastern University in Spring of 2022 with a B.S. in psychology. She is currently working on projects related to health and science related misinformation in the lab and is interested in the applications of misinformation research in real world contexts. In the future, Krissy wants to further explore how we form beliefs, update our beliefs, and integrate new information into our pre-existing mental models about the world.
